Client Food Diary
Record meals, snacks, drinks, packaged foods, portions and notes so your dietitian can review your food record.
Search for foods or scan the barcode on a packaged product to quickly add its nutrition information. Product details should always be checked against the current food label before saving.
The Client Food Diary is free for clients. You do not need a paid Dietitian App subscription to use the diary. You only need to sign in so your entries can be saved securely and linked with your dietitian.
What clients can record
Scan packaged foods
Scan a product barcode, check the product details and enter the amount consumed.
Meals and snacks
Record breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks and supplements.
Portions and notes
Add serve sizes, brands, leftovers, appetite, symptoms and preparation details.
Dietitian review
Email a secure diary link to your dietitian so they can review and import your food record.
About barcode product information
Packaged-food information may be supplied by Open Food Facts. Product information can be incomplete or outdated, so clients should confirm the product name, serving information and nutrition values against the current package before adding it to their diary.
For dietitians
The Client Food Diary is separate from the paid clinical reference tools. Clients can enter their own food records for free, while dietitians can use the subscription tools for clinical calculations, nutritional analysis, growth tracking, formulary access and other professional workflows.
